No War WitH iRAN!

The fascist American and Israeli states have launched an unjustifiable imperialist war against the Iranian people. Red Youth Rising vehemently condemns this act of aggression, carried out on behalf of the capitalist class, for the purposes of war-profiteering and the imperialist redivision of the region.

To the utter horror of the working youth across the world, the Iranian youth have already become primary targets of imperialist violence with the grotesque murder of at least 148 students and others at a school in southern Iran. They youth have always been disproportionately affected by the violence which imperialism necessitates in both the long and short term.

It is the responsibility of the American youth to take action against the Trump Regime’s escalation. We cannot sit idly by while Trump and the capitalist class massacres youth and workers abroad. We must take to the streets, organize local resistance, walk out of school and work, and shut down arms production. We must demand an end to imperialism and the decaying capitalist system which necessitates it.

RYR is a revolutionary youth organization.

We represent the entire youth, including workers, students, parents, disabled people, and migrants. Guided by the principles of socialism, anti-fascism, anti-racism, queer liberation, women’s emancipation, and international solidarity, Red Youth Rising organizes the youth around issues which materially affect the working class, with the goal of building towards socialist revolution. Red Youth Rising is open to any young person residing in the United States who agrees with our Points of Unity.

Tenant Organizing

Affordable, stable, and sustainable housing is a human right, but is not guaranteed for the working class, especially young people. Red Youth Rising is active in the fight for tenants’ rights, supporting existing tenant unions and building new ones. Working-class youth must fight for a future without exploitative landlords and the commodification of housing!

Political Education

Red Youth Rising prioritizes political education. As socialists, it is important to have a deep understanding of the system we are fighting against –capitalism– and to learn effective strategies for building the revolutionary movement and the future we are fighting for. This includes the study of the experiences of socialist revolutions of the past, and how we can apply those lessons to our necessary work today.
